In which we were smelly and got on a bus

Day 91 9/11
Mileage 10?
Camped in Yosemite Valley

What a day today was! It began with more wonderful leftovers at Glen Aulin again, an easy hike to Tuolumne Meadows, where we got some more yummy food, resupplied, and caught the bus into Yosemite Valley. On the bus, we met Chris, a park employee who works at Sunrise High Sierra camp, which is similar to Glen Aulin. He was great company. We swapped stories and talked about how it's ridiculous that so many people never even leave their cars when they come to Yosemite, but how we are glad that that's the case. He's moving to North Carolina with his new wife and they hope to open a bed-and-breakfast, a Nice chill place with themed rooms, like a bird room, with "way too many birds". He gave us the skinny on where to camp tonight, which we had also heard about from Andrew. It's a really cool place down the hill from Half Dome. Yosemite is really a special place. Funnily enough, it's at the base of the giant outcropping where I camped with Apogee two years ago, a campsite that I will always remember as one of the best I've had. Here we are, two years later, tucked away in our own little corner of Yosemite Valley. It's nice to be back.
