Camped in Big Crow Basin

We slept in today, sheltered in the cabin. It was quiet warm, and not too bright. Today felt nice and relaxed in general. Not too far, not too hilly. The snow is much lighter than expected. Fantastic! We're at our first really mountain-y feeling campsite today, at 6200' in Big Crow Basin. I had some worrisome pain on the top of my foot but the knee was fine, at least. The body in general has been holding up fine, maybe even better than expected. I'm finding myself feeling more and more comfortable out here.
