Back to Ashland! Some lively conversation reduced the monotony of re-walking this section of trail. We met Zoe's parents on the away down to Callahan's. We went into Ashland and stuffed our faces with pizza. I ate about two square feet, I think. Then we had ice cream. Back at Callahan's, we met up with Kyle's parents and sister. We headed to the town of Mt. Shasta, walked around a bit, checked into our hotel room, which was an awesome suite with a full kitchen and two bedrooms. Thanks, Kyle's parents! We watched Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter after dinner, which was just about as intellectually stimulating as we were hoping it would be, and went to bed.
