Zero in Shasta

Yay, zero! Today, we went on a little hike by Castle Lake, a beautiful lake with a superb view of Shasta. We climbed up a big rocky slope, clambered on some rocks, went back to the town, explored the town a bit, bought food for the next section, hung out in the hotel some more, and voilà, a successful zero day.
