Camped near Muir Trail Ranch
We continued yesterday's climb up to Selden pass, after passing several beautiful lakes. After the pass, a long, long downhill brought us to Muir Trail Ranch. The hiker boxes are formidable, to say the least. There are a bunch of JMT hikers around too, and it's nice to have new people to hang out with. After grabbing several varieties of instant mashed potatoes and an onion, we made dinner before heading to the Hot Springs. Hot Springs! So nice. It's in a big Meadow, and we stayed late enough to see the stars. We were in there for hours. Nice to have an easy day and kick back for a bit.
