Camped at mile 549 water cache
We left Rockin's house at 6:30 AM, and got back on trail, which was actually a road for a while. Rockin' dropped us off in the surprisingly frigid desert morning. Before we knew it, however, it was too hot. We climbed a bunch through an unreasonably large wind farm. Everything was burnt today. There was a big fire here a few years ago and it seems like no recovery has happened yet. We took a long afternoon siesta and now we're content in camp.
